Yo gang, thanks for this video, i just subscribed. I'm a windows user, really considering going for the Zen Q (TB3), How is the workflow with it? Have seen so many bad reviews about them, wanna confirm before i pull the tr1gger on it

Thanks for checking out the video! The hardware and the effects you can use are very clutch, and While I haven't tried the TB3 version, I hear that it is indeed is more stable, and can properly use AFX2DAW. On top of that the sound quality is great
In terms of software, it's a crapshoot; While I got it to work for me, it took a lot of forum searching, rolling back firmware updates and drivers, testing on other PCs and Macs, and more to play how I wanted it too.
I can sit and troubleshoot things cause I like doing that kind of stuff, but I'd recommend picking up some something less of a headache like an Apogee Duet 3 or an RME BabyFace Pro. Even some of the mid range Audient or Audient. If you got the bread, Antelope Audio's more upscale stuff is a lot more reliable.

@@BeatsWithKev wow that's Great to hear, thanks for the feedback, I've been seeing their latest drop, the zen Quadro. Could have easily gone for the Apollo rack mount series but I want something bus powered with tb3 that can still deliver that Industry standard audio quality with little to no headache in the learning curve

Thanks; I find myself tweaking these chains so much because for a long time, it felt like something has always been missing, but now I finally got to a place where it doesn’t sound complete trash, and can adjust aspects of it quickly now.

@@BeatsWithKev you did an excellent job and literally every step you took was what I was thinking at the moment just before you did it lol!
Something I like to keep in mind about doing this ourselves is Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters created a home studio and the experts from the label and record company told him it wouldn't work, they needed experts to come in, specific methods for metering rooms to conclude how they need to be furnished and electrically equipped but he told them to go to hell.
They won a Grammy for the album and he said after the fact he got to look at all of them and give them the finger, but when I listen to that album being critical as a musician and self educated music and video producer, the audio quality and splices in the analog tape they recorded to are obvious and it sounds a fair bit like shit lol.
*Anyway, in the years since I've heard tons of music production coming out of people's homes or semi-professional studios and the quality of the sound is perfectly suitable for a global commercial release, and this reaches the point I was getting at which is it also sounds significantly better than the Foo Fighters' Grammy winning album.*
I went to college for what is considered the most most advanced science on earth, electrical/electronics engineering and in contrast, reassure people that music production and audio "engineering" is something you can absolutely become an expert in through purely self study. I have something in contrast to it that's nearly unheard of for someone to reach an expert level in through self study, but even in that science it does happen.
*You're definitely producing commercial quality music.*
